it just dawned on me that today is my 1/4 birthday and then i was like okay so how old am i, and i couldnt figure out if i was 33, 34, or 35 :-/ do people forget their age the older they get!?
“powerpoint should be tied to a large rock and dropped off a pier.”
All in all, I’d have to agree. While PPt could be a great tool, it is most often mis-used. I have spent COUNTLESS hours watching people giving “presentations” that consist of their facing the screen and reading off the bullet points on their PPt presentation.
The best presentation advice is to show why you think the material is interesting and compelling. If the material is not interesting, be complete. The audience will understand the material is not sexy but your thoroughness in presenting it helps. If it’s really technical, finish the presentation with a rapid skim of all that has to unfortunately be left unsaid with the comment that it can be followed up on. That way, you look like an expert and guru.
Kens, if CGar was that charming and smooth, dude was probably playing more “wingman” than you realize vs a true 3rd wheel is really not as value-added.

“think he enjoyed it. And I totally scored brownie points cause he was all charming and stuff.

Yes, CGar totally enjoyed it. Goat Boy’s date is as nice and can be and totally hot. Nothing like being a chaperone on someone else’s date!
[Humbled by the compliment]
