ooooh, what a great day. I totally avoided the C this morning and walked directly to Atlantic Avenue for the 4/5.
It took me less than 30 minutes door to door.
I got to miss the cruddy delapidated Clinton Washington station, the inevitable 10+ minute wait and the passage through the Netherland of Fulton Street to the 4?
Let me ask you. Is there a worse station in the city than Fulton Street? It is dangerous for one (I know…I know…but the construction on the platform only allows for less than 4 feet on the platform to enter and exit trains). Then there is the water!@#! Water everywhere!! Dripping from everywhere and forming canals between the rails where the rats come to congregate, hang out, drink…
Stalagtites, stalagmites of black crud, peeling paint.
And all the crowds converging from the J,M,4,5,2,3.
Then if that isn’t enough, it is a place for vendors and Musicians….Central Americans selling crullers on the platform, little guys from the Andes playing little guitars and flutes and selling CDs, guys drumming on compound buckets, African whiner musicians, then the
PREACHERS, the AM New York guys jamming those things in your face…..
But I didn’t go there today and life is beautiful.

I prefer my guys to have never offered up their tip.
Wow, I just bowled a blog turkey +1 (four posts in a row).
I think it’s time to do some work.
bfar, usually the mohel gets the tip.
bellhop = beautiful bunny?
I just mistakenly posted a potage reference in the Asian influx thread, yet somehow it seems to fit right in with the rest of the posts.
Does anyone know the best way to thicken one’s potage?
Thanks Biff, I have not laughed that much at an OT one-liner in a while.
Now can you come clean the coffee off my keyboard?
