  1. Most of my friends in LA had people clean their homes.

The only time we have ever paid someone to clean was when we had an unemployed friend who needed extra cash.

For some reason it still seems strange to me to have a regular cleaning person.

  2. I think Alicia was perfectly justified. Peter SWORE to her that the hooker was the only other woman he had been fooling around with. She played the “good wife” and supported him during his trial, visited him in jail, and helped to secure his release. When he ran out of the building after her and broke his parole, she and her kids lied to keep him from going back to jail, which could have had her jailed and disbarred, and the kids in foster care, or charged themselves.

She supported his campaign, put up with having to live with the press reliving his affair over and over again, and asking her questions. She also resisted what could have been an easy affair with Will, someone she was in love with before Peter came along. After all that, and she and Peter were starting to trust each other, she finds out he slept with her best friend. It doesn’t matter that she and Kalinda didn’t know each other back then, both Kalinda and Peter knew he was married.

If Alicia had really been a bitch, she would have walked into his victory party and slapped the crap out him on national television, or run to the press, or run him over with her car. She would have vilified him to their children, and told her horrible mother-in-law just what her precious son was really like. (the MIL is a trip of her own) She didn’t. She also could have called any reporter out there and told them the marriage was over because Peter was a cheating bastard. She didn’t. She’s one classy lady who had every right to be mad.

Sheesh, you’d think these people were real. I really love this show.

“Has anyone here ever experienced a burning/tight sensation in your arm over a long period of time? Like a week or more?”

    No, not in my arm.

    Same here.

“Damn! I tore my best black fish net stockings today!”

Jester, try to top that! (nh)”

I forgot to add that, fortunately, the tear is hidden by my black thigh high boots.

(Yeah, good luck with that one, jester.)

  5. “We won’t resolve this as it’s the difference between “men thinking” and “women thinking.””

I’m thinking this is a difference between “dave thinking” and “other people thinking”.
