Besides, logically speaking, what Lech said was either as many or as few as the reader thinks the word “people” means. He did not say “all people.” I specified a person, benson, so neither one of us said everyone who lives in new construction is a terrorist. People does not necessarily mean everyone. dibs, I bought “fine paints of Europe” paint for my front door in Bensonhurst a few years back and the guy there was telling me that the best stuff for priming metal was this orange stuff and my railings would be good forever. That was before I needed it though. I never knew what factors differentiate metal primers. But ok, next thing I have to do, will get separate primer.
I have come across a gut-wrenching blog that catologues the drug violence in Mexico. This stuff is happening just South of us. There are extremely disturbing photos on this blog. Not safe for work if other people are staring at your computer screen, and you may want to think twice about looking at this if you have a weak stomach. It’s hard to believe life is so cheap somewhere so close to us.
dibs, are you still there? What’s the matter with primer plus paint. I used Benjamin Moore’s stuff for my railing. Is this going to start flaking off by next year or something? The guys over at Pintchik told me it was great…..
COMPLETELY TRUE STORY
On Friday I left my work laptop on the train.
On Monday morning I went to the lost & found in Grand Central.
They told me it takes a couple of days for articles to make it back down to Grand Central when they have been lost on northbound trains.
They told me to fill out a form online. I did.
This afternoon I got an email from Metro North telling me by bag had been found and was waiting for me at Grand Central.
And there it was.
I bet that sort of thing happens all the time on the F train.

Dona, it’s too new and I really think it’s just skipping steps for the ease of use of lazy homeoners. It might be OK for interior finishes.
I would never use that especially exterior and even more especially on metal.
A good primer for metal has to actually etch the metal.
I know a fair amount about this because I’ve painted a few cars in my time.
