  1. the head of Hamas condemned bin Laden’s death.Kind of complicates the very new reconciliation with the PLO. They are also demanding that the next prime minister of the unity government come from Gaza. Good way to ruin a reconciliation.

  2. Just popping in for a second. I support Obama and always have but has anyone considered for a second that what we have heard is not true? I’m not saying there is a certain conspiracy here, but I do wonder how the DNA testing of bin Laden was done so quickly (was there a van with a lab next to the building waiting to analyze the results, why they disposed of the body right away (and a big puhleeeeassseee on the US military respecting his Islamic faith), if they could have taken him alive why they didn’t, etc.

    Everyone immediately believes what they are told without a lot of proof.

    Is this Obama’s Mission Accomplished?

    i’ll make sure to remember that word next time you deem it necessary to share your “wisdom” in one of montrose’s threads.

  4. I second MM, DH. Perhaps some of those who constantly berate the President as being too soft on terror are having a difficult time this morning adjusting their opinions. I think that idea was put to rest last night along with the long form.

  5. benson, I hardly think it was out of line to wonder how some of the more ‘right wing’ people here on the OT would respond to this event.

  6. JB;

    I agree that this was a triumphant moment for President Oabama, and as I said last night, he and our troops deserve congratulations on a great victory.
