I am not a very politcal person, but, the point I was trying to make was, Obama scored BIG!! Revel in that, it was a great moment for him (Go Navy), but why diminish it by attacking Bush. That does not make Obama’s accomplishment any greater. How do we know what McCain would have done? I thought Rob was the psychic.
I never said you brought him up. Please reread my post. As for the rest, it would be more moronic to have a “conversation” with you since you aren’t capable of one without calling someone who disagrees with you a moron.
Does anyone else find these types of discussions difficult to participate in? I want to say things, but always feel like I have to do serious editing to cover my bases, making sure to anticipate the inevitable “but Snappy…what about” statements. I don’t think I type quickly enough! LOL
Anybody else do the 5 boro bike tour? I did, though it involved FAR too much walking. Because of bicycle gridlock, we walked most of the way to Central Park, walked the approach to the Queensboro Bridge, walked part of Brooklyn (approaching Brooklyn Heights) and then were stuck in an absolutely miserable traffic jam on the BQE. Almost two hours. Once we got through the construction zone, it was fun riding and clear sailing, but by that point people almost didn’t care!
One of the guards said in response to a rider’s comment:
“Well, there are 30,000 pissed off cyclists.”
“No, only 25,000. The first 5,000 got through without a hitch.”
I know it’s a logistical nightmare, but they need better engineers!!

bxgrl, answer the question….How do you know the economy is doing better now than if McCain were President?
Even your small mind can understand that’s a moronic statement.
Did you note that I called the statement moronic and not you? I didn’t call you a moron. I said the statement was moronic.
oy. the fighting begins.

Did anyone go to BBG yesterday? I drove past a couple of times & there seemed to be teeming hordes trying to get in.
You’re the one who brought up Bush, bxgrl, not me.
And just how, in your omniscient mind, do you know that things are going better than they would have under McCain.
If ever there was a moronic statement.

No, let’s not see the pics. Releasing pics can only work against us.
British tabloids are the white trash of the newspaper industry.
+10 points to Obama for not releasing pics and just making a simple announcement.
