MM, I really enjoyed it too, guess I sounded cranky – just got pretty tired. 🙂
I wish I had my book but 141 was interesting as I remember it. I loved the Candy factory loft on Vanderbilt. Are you referring to the loft on top of the art studio in Wallabout? I wish I had my book; there was one on Washington with graphite pier mirrors and beatiful details (lots of art) which I loved. My friend, seemed to think the same way I did about many of the places. Her favorite was Queen of All Saints. She isn’t a church goer and was never inside. I am a member of that parish and I got a little lecture from a lady I have met there on the stained glass windows which are breathtaking.
There was another with a traditional details, molding, etc. on parlor floor with a bedroom with back wall a window looking out on backyard. I imagined watching the snowstorm from bed.
Channel 7 just said we do have pictures (which we figured) and Obama will decide what to do with them. I think I’d like to see them. Then maybe I’ll see that in my mind’s eye and not the bodies I saw falling out of windows that day.
Yeah I am sure that the President of the United States is going to go on television and report Bin Laden is dead, with the risk that a new video is going to come out with Osama holding tomorrow’s paper…
I am sure that the press and twitters in Abbottabad who were contemporaneously reporting helicopters crashing were in on it to….

Obama on TV, live.
Did anyone here actually feel a sense of “relief” when you found out that bin Laden is dead? I think I went right to worry about retaliation.
Yeah- I could do without some of the images and memories myself.
There’s a pic of dead Obama on page 2 of the post.
He looks about the same as Cindi Adams and Andrea Peyser do in real life.
