This just came through the e-mail…..
A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee, when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery.
A black hearse was followed by a second black hearse about 50 Feet behind the first one.
Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash.
Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file.
The man couldn’t stand the curiosity.
He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, “I am so sorry for your loss, and this may be a bad time to disturb you, But I’ve never seen a funeral like this.
“Whose funeral is it?”
“My wife’s.”
”What happened to her?”
The man replied, “She yelled at me and my dog attacked and Killed her.”
He inquired further, “But who is in the second hearse?”
The man answered, “My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my Wife when the dog turned on her.”
A very poignant and touching moment of brotherhood and silence Passed between the two men.
rf, right now, it takes me 14 minutes to get into chinatown. when there’s no traffic, 9 minutes. if I move to lower manhattan, no drive needed – ahhhh, convenience

dibs, is your partner paying attention to what you’re posting right now?
I was offered a retirement healthcare package from B of A when I retired but it was too costly.
Legion, ever looked into opening a clinic specializing in imaging, x-rays, dialysis, etc? that idea has been floating in my head alot for some reason
m4l, I have Chinatown come to me.
rf…he pays for all of mine. The firm I’m with now actually has it but I opted to go on his plan instead. He’ll be able to take it after he retires.
I suspect there’s nothing better than a big pharma health care plan. If you are on any medication they make there’s no copay.

You can still get a house under thirty on a normal salary, just not in most part of the Northeast or California.
DIBS, does your partner pay part of his (and your) health insurance?
