Last night I went to t.b.d. in Upper Greenpoint ($275 fine right there) for a work advocacy thing. A reporter from a well-known weekly was there, and thinking he was the only other dude there not Gen Y and thus a total square, I went over and talked to him. I impressed him when I mentioned reading his weekly publication in Gorilla Coffee on a certain day in 2005, a reference I knew he’d fall for.
I might be getting (mis)quoted in a future issue. Before I left I pointed out some colleagues who had gotten some national press about stuff, things they could have done themselves, but they were too busy texting and telling in-jokes to welcome the reporter.
arent like 3 out of 4 kids born these days autistic? :-/
that label is thrown around WAAAAAAAAY too loosely and i know FOR A FACT if you can get a doctor to “diagnose” your child as being withing the autistic range, you qualify for a good 400-500 dollars a month in SSDI (and it’s mostly rich parents who are scamming this btw using it as a free college savings plan on the tax payers’ dime!) it’s time to stop the scam of autism!!
you have to have worked to qualify for SSDI. So a child would not qualify for SSDI.

Says the woman with the handbag fetish.
“Do all of you have sex as much as Dave apparently does? Do all of you have as many partners? ”
There have been periods of my life when I was in the same neighborhood, although not at Dave’s apparent quantity levels.

Don’t kid yourselves, you are all crazy.

So normal was 15, autistic was 32, and GOTD was 28?
