I agree that government waste is huge, but I have no faith in the ability of Republicans to solve it.
When they controlled the executive and legislative branches, wast was just as bad as when the Democrats did.
The closest thing we have had to a re-evaluation of government spending in the last couple decades was when the GOP Congress and Clinton were forced to compromise with each other, and those changes were tiny in the grand scheme of things.

I’m seeing the dems as obstructionist when it comes to the heavy lifting that will be necessary to right the course the economy is on.
So while a congressman (Ryan) ends up proposing a real plan to correct the course, the President and his allies are busy telling us that the Republicans are just out to throw granma from the train and take candy away from babies.
