  1. Wow, I think we got at least 3 seasons in today.

    It is BEAUTIFUL outside now…..HOT.

    I used to have a guy who reported to me and he was so sweet, so nice, he used to treat me like gold, falling all over me, chatty, whatever you want, falling all over himself. Then whenever we were in the clutch, he f@#ked up. He was the guy who ASSURED you that everything was a-ok and then you had something high profile to do and he was responsible for one set of documents, they would be lost in FEDEX. ALWAYS he F@#ked up in the clutch. That is passive-aggressive. If he was just aggressive, it wouldn’t have been hard to fire him (my superiors kept egging me on to do it) but he was such a loser schlub that you felt bad about it.

  2. M4L;

    Boehner announced his support of the Ryan plan today, and now that this little crap is out of the way, let’s see what happens. I believe Ryan is going to formally submit the proposal next week. Once again, let’s see what happens.

  3. benson, I agree obama deserves bad marks for dragging feet back time. but repub party are pretty shitty so far too. where do we see the Repub big guns backing up Ryan’s plan – ie sticking neck out to back the boy up?

  4. M4L;

    If you really want to keep score:

    The budget deal that was just passed was for THIS fiscal year, which is already HALF over. That budget was supposed to be passed more than 1/2 year ago, when the democrats had control of all three bodies in charge of the budget: the house, the senate and presidency. So, big cuts could not be made on a budget for a fiscal year that is already half over.

    For the upcoming fiscal year, the Republicans have proposed significant entitlement reform/spending cuts, via the Ryan plan.

    President Obama appointed a deficit-reduction commission. They proposed a meaningful plan. Has he run with the ball since they published it?
