Tarrytown is actually quite beautiful. Housing there is much cheaper than in the other river towns because the schools aren’t as good as they are in surrounding towns. There perfectly good of course, they just aren’t *as* good. There are lots of blocks with what look like maybe 400k range houses that have unobstructed river views. And strangely the commute to Manhattan from Tarrytown is actaully faster than it is from places like Irvington and Dobbs Ferry because there is an express train that goes straight from Tarrytown to GCT.

The fog was heavy this morning. I couldn’t see the other side of the river. It was one of those uneven fogs where you go through light and heavy patches. At Spuyten Duyvil it was like there were little clouds bunched over the water.
Just went to Saraghina. it was incredibly crowded. Had a bottle of wine and then, after drinking beer all afternoon with losers, wwent home and passed out!!!
Went to the castle on the Hudson in Tarrytown for brunch yesterday. Nice spot. I still need to go to Lyndhurst and Kykuit.
