but it’s nothing more than the reality borne out in
the news as I’ve read it over the years.
Caroline was not ready to be Senator
and Patrick gave up in Rhode Island of his own volition.
There is no “glee” in my statement except for the acknowledgement of reality as it stands.
I think, perhaps it is my cold statement of truth that makes many uncomfortable at times.
Ok, fine, whatever, legion. But your bitterness shines through in your glee at the concept of natural social selection or however you put it. Poor baby, did you have to work too hard to get where you are? Still spitting up at people who have achieved more wealth than you?? Looking forward to their downfall in a generation or two? Should we all clap our hands with glee when your children or grandchildren fail? There’s a certain amount of schadenfreude in your statements.

on Cartagena since you were there recently.
I have in my head, a notion of someday retiring to
an old colonial city on the Caribbean like that.
What were your impressions of the city on your last visit?
