my personna here on the OT is an exaggerated response to the other posts I see.
Perhaps I enjoy holding a mirror to a society too willing to live with hypocrisy. I don’t pretend to know more than everyone on life, I only claim to have a larger perspective on it than most.

Oldie parents are powering back. My mother acknowledges her lovely doctor trying to help but ineffective (she had severe shingles) so she is starting her own therapy. Resuming her 7am 3 mile powerwalk with her friends, the “Streetwalkers”.
My father, tough old jock, (had stent surgeries), tells me that he got 4 wheelbarrows of dirt which he redistributed in the backyard. Went to the movies with my mother last night. Complains about birds who are ignoring his birdhouse (flying around looking for foreclosures, he says).
“Anyone else have the assassinations of brothers in their families? (for starters). The Kennedy’s still manage to do tons of charity work and churn out high achievers. Let us know when you have done as much in the face of so much tragedy, Legion.”

you are certain that the Kennedy family has yet a higher authority when it comes to virtue than a hispanic guy from East New York.
