  1. “Slopey, you’re an instigator. Always were, always well be. You prolly take great pleasure in putting giant inflatable rats outside people’s homes and workplaces.”

    I only use real rats.

This reminds me: question for our PLUSA cat fanciers and anyone with appliance knowledge. Our cats have figured out how to open the freezer (we have a top freezer fridge) and they took out a whole bunch of frozen ground beef and pork, tore open the freezer bags, unwrapped the foil, let the meat thaw and ate half a pound or more while I was at work yesterday. Any way to get the cats to stop opening the freezer? Any way to replace or doctor up the material that seals the freezer shut when teh door is closed?

  2. “…flawed hubris and a presumptious fallacy of logic.”

Can I explain what I meant by this statement,
    cause it does sound funny.

flawed hubris: as in being proud for being on the outside
(as measured by prevailing societal virtues) but not proud enough to laud it over those perceived to be within prevailing societal virtues.

presumptuous fallacy of logic: as in using flawed logic to argue an illogical point. e.g. “you’re wrong because I don’t like what you are saying and it doesn’t agree with what I like to hear, therefore I will call you illogical.”

  3. quote:
God, I hate drug dealers. Hate them. They screwed with me in Manhattan when I lived there years ago and now I am back to living with them at this stage of my life. Fuckers.

you really need to lift yourself up out of the ghetto. one of my fav. books is A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown about a woman who did just that, lifted herself out of the ghetto. something tells me it might be easier for you to do that then it was for her. hells, i was even able to do it!!!

  4. legion, You have a remarkable ability to hold yourself above others. What makes you think that fighting your way out of the ghetto or your particular battles in life are more worthwhile than the experiences/battles/challenges of others? Do you think this makes you more intelligent or just tougher? It’s very unattractive, and frankly, at some point will likely hold you back in life.

  5. “but when I’m right, I’ll tell you.
Why wouldn’t I, that would be falsely modest and again hypocritical.
It seems you live in a world where it’s ok to be wrong as long as your intentions are percieved to be morally correct based on an ambiguous scale.”

Proving yet again why an overinflated ego is not a good judge of history or character. Your difficulty is not understanding that things are not black and white, and you can’t conceive of the fact that not only are there many sides to the story, but they are nuanced. You seemed to have appointed yourself the truthsayer- an election with one voter hardly ranks as a democratic one.
