  1. dh — I don’t see much value in in utero music exposure. Lots of classic jazz in my house when Mrs. Slopey was expecting, plus some nice concerts. My kid started dancing in utero at an Abdullah Ibrahim (great South African jazz pianist) trio concert. Now, she just listens to nonstop Lady Gaga with an occasional break for Single Ladies.

  2. You are right, Lech. Cuba does have great medical care and I was told that if I were hurt and needed medical care I would get it. But it is kind of murky how the whole delivery of services in an emergency would work.

Re UK… I have to say that I did get good surgeons, but the nursing care was out of a horror movie. I refused to take pain killers because I wanted to make sure that I was aware enough to monitor the medications and doctor instructions. Good thing, because due to screwups, once my blood pressure dropped into the 30s (I was dehydrated).

  3. M4l – Jessi’s right – it’s an induction date – so hoping no csection as my body has already started to progress on it’s own but Dr’s don’t like you to go over your due date by too much so we chose a date for induction – hoping he comes in the next few days….

Dibs -why do you think M4L is getting chubby?
