Donatella, if you dont trust that dude, I have 3 options for your dry cleaning:
– the one at corner of greene and waverly ave
– one on middle of waverly (btwn lafayette and greene); I prefer the one above – nicer folks
– middle of waverly (btwn park and flushing ave); it’s a massive place that might do more wholesale biz than retail; I use them when I have a ton to clean; drive over; cheaper price for sure
Arkady,
I signed up for one of those energy audits on my property in Bushwick.
The guy spent about an hour and a half going through the heating system, the roof, a couple of apartments, the basement, thermostat, etc.
In the end though, he said he didn’t have many recommendations as the building appeared to be quite efficient. He didn’t use a gas detector though.
I suspect it was just National Grid being nosy.
donatella,
that sucks, I’d be really pissed if my favorite suit came back destroyed.
I believe the cleaners have insurance for that. They really should reimburse you. It’s only good business and if you don’t tell the guy he’ll just lose more.
“I suppose this is in accordance with popular wisdom that says you don’t want anyone too smart on a jury.”
By definition, half the population has an IQ at 100 or below. In a city of 8 million, do the math.
“Denton, I just learned that PA doesn’t tax pensions and IRA/401k withdrawals, further cementing my decision that PA will be my state of retirement”
dibs, we’re gonna be taking a two week drive to scope out some places. Pittsburg is on the list.
Did you read not one of the 12 jurors on that hedge fund insider trading trial heard of Lloyd Blankfein?

Guy wasn’t from Nat. Grid – independent contractor.

Patriotic and kind Americans invested $1.2 billion in Japanese ETFs in the last week.
They are cold hearted and just trying to make money by capitalizing on this tragedy.
