My schedule was tight. I had to get back to my office for something. I can’t remember what it was though.
Arkady, unless you want the gas company to shut off your service for the length of time (??) it will take them to get someone there to repair it, do it on your own.
I don’t think you want your heat off the next few days.

The gas main come into your house from the street. There’s a huge cut-off valve & the pipe continues to the meter. If there were a leak between the cut-off valve & the meter, whose responsibility is it; gas co or homeowner?
