Log in to Reply “I think it’s much harder for kids to go from living the suburban McMansion lifestyle to apartment living in the city.” I am really surprised at how quickly and how well my 9 year old has adapted to Brooklyn. We were not exactly in a McMansion in Los Angeles, but we did have a 2500 sqft townhouse with a swimming pool right outside our front door.
