I am really surprised at how quickly and how well my 9 year old has adapted to Brooklyn.
We were not exactly in a McMansion in Los Angeles, but we did have a 2500 sqft townhouse with a swimming pool right outside our front door.
Before he was born, Wendy and I did have a “starter McMansion” built in the suburbs of Birmingham.
“That was cool, lech. I wonder if it could be done somehow with KITTENS.”

I was thinking of changing my screen name when I moved. There were a couple of candidates, one of which was “schrodinger’s cat.”
“I wonder how many pre-written obits the NY Times has so they’re ready to go to press right away with it when someone famous dies.”
Several years ago, someone found a bunch on obits on cnn.com for famous people still alive.
They were not linked to from any pages but they were stored unprotected on the web servers so that anyone who knew the URL could access them.
Ask not for whom the bell trolls.
