But I bet if the US turned its back on Israel, all of the Christians that enjoy visiting their holy sites there would not be allowed in.
Real global consensus (vs. barmecide coalition of the willing), based on real events (vs. mythical WMD), in a conflict started by the indigenes (vs. power-hungry move by outsiders) will probably be more successful & will certainly give the US a better profile.

We also need to abandon the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act…start spreading around some $$$ that actually do some good.
I think what we need to do is get that hot black couple from “Undercovers” (cancelled?) or LL Kool J and Chris o’Donnell to go over there and execute a few of these leaders, CIA style. it’s clear the CIA can’t actually accomplish what we need them for.

Not at all. Contrary to what ET said above, what the Arab world respects above all else is firm leadership and power. Throwing Israel to the wolves in an attempt to appease them would only bring contempt.

It seems like US oil interests would be against Israel, since many of them have large amounts of assets in countries that are traditionally opposed to Israel.
If the US abandoned Israel, I imagine that many more opportunities for US companies in the Middle East would open up.
