As I type this there is a banner ad for a realtor in Hastings on Hudson. The really pimpy guy who has glamor shots on his website. He showed us a house in Dobbs Ferry.

I don’t know what Bannerman’s Castle is. I’ll look it up. I will get a boat eventually if we are there long-term, but right now it doesn’t make sense to spend all that time and money for the once-a-month trip out on the water where my wife makes me take a couple of the kids and then 30 seconds into it one of them has to go to the bathroom and the other one is scared and crying, so we pull back in after going 100 feet out and try again the next month.
He’ll build a raft, not buy one. Or a kayak covered w/ cured squirrel hides.
