Most of the pieces are 21K (I think). They’re a darker orange than typical 14K. I prolly have a dozen or so items.
I’ve never worn the crap and won’t. Not my style. I’d rather have the cash in the bank.
This statement from one of the bike-lane proponents in the “latest” post is the most idiotic, yet funniest, thing I’ve read in a long time:
“It’s crazy. Gibson Dunn is the law firm that represented George W. Bush in Bush v. Gore in 2000. Now they’re working to get rid of a bike lane. Think about that.”
This takes the Bush-Derangement-Syndrome to a whole new level!!!!
textperV, wear a low low cut shirt/top. clevage is effective in getting better price too – just make sure to deal with the husband vs. the wife of the operations
textperV, gold is now 1426 per ounce. use that as reference to gauge how big of a discount you’re willing to tolerate as jewelry store quote you their price

$1,426 per ounce for 24k gold, not 16-18k, which is what most American jewelry is.
I don’t know what the formula for the discount is. many Chinese shops will only deal in 24k pure gold.
In fact, in Hong Kong, the pieces are stamped with the shops “chop” or name and they will buy back any piece they sold.

Just remember, ET, “All that glitters isn’t gold.”
If you go to Chinatown, ET, bring a Chinaman with you.
I was told this by a jewelry dealing Chinaman once.

ET – Macy’s has an appraisal dept. I don’t know if they do gold. You could call them.
