Went inside the Air and Space Museum and Museum of Natural History (which can’t compare to the one in Manhattan). Did a drive by/photo op at The Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Arlington, Lincoln Memorial, etc. Not bad for just over one day.
Friend we stayed with lives in Chevy Chase, which is quite a nice area. The drive to the White House from there is approximately 15-20 minutes and is beautiful; passes by a ton of embassies. The architecture was fabulous and the city is ultra clean, surely meant to give visitors only the best impression of the nation’s capital. I’m sure a few mile drive to the poorer areas of DC and Baltimore would horrify the tourists.
When I was in college, I worked for a few high-end catering companies. By far the best events/weddings were put together by Lawrence Craig (homo). His production and food cannot be competed with. This guy is about the best caterer I have ever seen.
i didnt think there were that many poor areas of DC even left. didnt they kill all the poor out to prince georges county?
*rob*
“Biff, did you tell your friend about “this Chinese guy who is willing to move down to DC…..”?”
M4L, she’s on eHarmony, not Ashley Madison!
Whenever I’ve gone to DC, I always seem to drive through the poor area (not a pretty sight) to get to the schmaltzy part.

YEAH! raunch hour! My favorite.
Did the 9″ pack well? Were you able to go down on it?
Biffers – What’d you do in DC?
Do you and the Mrs. actually ski or were you just there to consume wild game???
DeLepp, DC was good, thanks.
