Yeah, I could tell which firms retained a bit of the old country club exclusive mentality by whether they would seek TROs and make other types of demands due on the eve of Jewish holidays (which, of course start in the evening).

benson et al., I don’t read it as a Bush-deranged conspiracy theory. I read it as a comment on just how much firepower is being brought to bear on a bike lane. Agree or not, I think that was the point of the comment.
And if memory serves I think it was Phil Beck of the Chicago firm Bartlitt Beck and a guy from the New York based firm of White & Case that did the most critical work for Bush.
