The new deal with these utility companies like Con Ed seems to be that they do not bother giving notice now when they come to dig up the street for a week. Don’t expect postings on street lights or anything.
It must be some money saving measure.
ET – what kinda of stroller do you have? I got one of those “city-mini” strollers so I can just collapse it quickly with one hand so I can get on the train quickly and without having to rely on some nice man to help me up and down the stairs!

lech – I did that w/ peanut years ago – at the 9th Circle which was owned by Mickey Ruskin who later opened Max’s. I stuffed the nutshells w/ messages about a bar I worked in nearby – Mickey was a total paranoid.
AND Would you know that these Mofos left all their trucks etc and went to get Breakfast for like 45 mins

yeah legion. i don’t even LIKE bike lanes – but i’d much rather have a bike lane in front of my bldg than a parking lot/highway with cars going 70mph (which they did on my block)
