Nope. Japan is facing a rising China, and BOTH countries want the US in the Pacific. China and Japan are quite wary of each other – they’ve never settled the score since WWII and basically have a deep distrust of the other.
We have pulled back quite a bit from Europe, but with Russia being somewhat belligerent, Germany is in no rush for us to go. Besides, if we left, it means the European may have to spend some of their espresso money on defense.
