DH, I think whether or not G-d had a hand in it isn’t a matter for evolution to decide. Basically, the theory of evolution follows a chain of evidence. i don’t see how it stops anyone from believing in G-d or not- it’s not about answering that particular question.
etson- for me, I can only say that evolution is a mechanism or a process. Whether it’s automated or has a driver is above my pay grade 🙂
