Sometimes they refrigerate those planes too. I usually bring something like a sweater or big scarf on the plane for that. Nothing worse than shivering the whole way cross country.
Speaking of which, I discovered on my trip to LA that American Airlines is now charging $8.00 for a blanket. COME ON!!!! I can understand charging extra fees for food and excess baggage, but $8 for the use of a blanket, on an airplane?!?!?
I got a little lecture from someone recently about what makes Spumoni Garden squares special – he says that they call them upside down squares – first the dough then the cheese and sauce on top of that.
DH, Kens……..Are they good?????? Do they live up to their reputation?
DH- not surprised. I talked to a lot of people with the SA and Southern Baptist who had been victims themselves in floods and hurricanes. The red cross sent them bills for the blankets and other supplies. They charged 80$ for one of their blankets.
Benson, I showed DH your stomping grounds on Friday and we went to L&Bs for some squares. I also brought some to Monteros so a bunch of PLUSAs have been exposed to L&Bs at this point.

I was pretty shocked too, DH, but quite a few people corroborated it. I’m amazed that they pulled that crap in wartime, with your grandfather.
