The latest issue of Science has an article that might shed some light on the “primordial goo”.
Seems they’ve found a highly sexual dinosaur and have reconstructed its mating habits from the many sexual positions they’ve unearthed.
Yeah, even if this primordial soup thing is legit (terrible name if it is – soup?) that doesn’t explain the whole living on a planet spinning in space bit.
I can’t believe you all are resorting to suggesting that gem is uneducated or a hick just because she is willing to entertain the possibility that human life (human evolution even) was designed.
This is why the rest of the country hates New York.

Bullshit. Absolute and complete bullshit. Absolutely nothing about the theory of evolution is inconsistent with the theory that the process, from the earliest steps, all the way back to the ooze, was “designed.”
