I have a question – hoping some of you investment types know the answer…
I found out through the NYS unclaimed funds site that my dad had funds holding in his name (from 2007) he passed away in 2003. I am the executor of the estate and I found out he has a lot of shares from NUE and that the brokerage company holding the shares did an “Escheatment on 10/26/2007” – handing the funds over to the state.
My question – is the value of the stock on the day of Escheatment OR would it be the date the funds get distributed to me?
Anyone want to talk about spanking?
cause that’s what happened to my Knicks in Dallas – spanking starting from the beginning
I’m toasting you tonight, jessi 🙂
The state of California has some great Tsunami prediction maps, but the web site is mostly inaccessible this morning.
From what I remember looking at them in the past, the zones are very small, although the size is mostly irrelevant if you happen to be in it.

g10, that’s a good date as that was before them banks pulled us down the toilet
I’m thinking escheatment – the state isn’t investing them for you.

Too long, jackal. You violated your own rule of a few months ago.
lech, you watch too much discovery channel. turn that shit off and put on vh1 instead, no need to think about such things like mega tsunamis.

So Park Slope would be an island for real.
