I have not used indeed.com before – will have to check it out. For my field, hotjobs has been dead for a long time and monster is becoming less and less relevant. dice.com is still pretty useful, probably more so than linkedin.
theladders.com was good for a while, bit seems to be decreasing in value as well.
I watched the newshour on PBS last night and they cut off their meeting with the fake group the fundraiser from NPR was taped with:
quote:
This afternoon, a spokeswoman at PBS, the TV side of public broadcasting that operates separately from NPR, said one of its executives also met with people who claimed to be with the same fake Muslim organization. Those discussions ended when PBS couldn’t confirm the group’s credentials.
There is a setting on FB to prevent people from posting your picture everywhere but it’s a pain to get to. The internet makes it all too easy to destroy someone’s life over the least thing.
Legion, the honeybee issue is critical to agriculture.
One of my neices had someone create a fake FB account using her pictures (the ones posted on the web unless you make absolutely EVERYTHING private).

Legion – Wisconsin story isn’t over yet – there are lawsuits in the works.
