  1. “The bottom line is that the people of WI voted and BY A HUGE MAJORITY voted in the Republicans to clean up the fiscal mess.”

so if people vote for a particular party they give up their rights to disagree with their policies?

this is why obama sucks – he should have just been all gangsta and done whatever the hell he wanted, not try to ride the middle.

  2. It seems like the core use for Apple TV is for people who download shows from iTunes and want to play them on their TV without running a cable from their computer.

A secondary use is people who want to do Netflix streaming to their TV and do not not have a game system or other device that can do it.

    Am I missing anything?

DH, so you replaced cable / fios with that for the shows/sports/content?

no – just supplemented fios with it.

it’s good for streaming netflix (the interface is much better than wii), renting movies on iTunes, and wirelessly streaming your iTunes library to your stereo system.

i’m sure it could somehow be used as a cable replacement, i’m just not that tech savvy.

  4. Arkady,
This was covered already in OT argument #22
The US Capitalist System and How Corportions are the Engine That Run It

Walker was faced with a state full of unemployment and corpoartions heading South to friendlier climes.
The government does not produce jobs in a capitalist system, it supports jobs growth by fostering industry and corporations.
As for the “surplus” inherited. I want to see that link.
