For the first 8 grades of school, we were graded on our penmanship. The norm was the Palmer method, beautifully tilted to the right. In order for a lefty to write with the proper right tilt, one has to hold the paper 45-90 degrees to the right. You tend to get a lot of ink stains.
On the other hand, I have really great handwriting. I wonder if I can monitize this, like make those Frenchy fabrics with handwriting on them?

Thanks, M4L. But why was there a strong preference for righties? What made them better?
JB,
it’s due to strong preferences in China then – such as:
– righty >>> lefty
– boys >>> girls
– engineers / Doctors >>> accounting / finance
Can someone explain Justin Bieber to me? Just a basic straightforward explanation, kind of like I got for Tiki Barber yesterday.
Cgar, first seder on the 18th, 2nd on the 19th.
My father was forced to write with his right hand. I think it’s less common to force lefties now in China than it was when m4l was a kid there.
I’ve tied a few Chinamen’s hands behind their backs.
M4L, did your parents bind his feet too?
m4l, yea I got two colleagues here who were born lefty…
