  1. I think people who believe they can pray away the gay desperately want to not be gay or because they desperately want to fit in. And their faith puts a tremendous amount of strain on them to not be- that’s very sad because I don’t think the concept of a loving G-d squares with prejudice and inflicting pain on people for being gay. In fact, it’s despicable. There are certain Jewish denominations that believe it is an abomination to be gay- to me, that goes against everything I was taught. With everything going on in the world, you would think religions would be concentrating on trying to make the world a better place, not a worse one.

  2. ET – maybe buy a mandolin chopper??

Rob – omg are you kidding? wait frozen tomatoes? that’s why they are charging more? ugh! – that’s so wack considering that those tomatoes were probably frozen months ago before food prices really started to spike

Snaps – I KEEP forgetting that Oprah has the OWN network – I never check for it and I keep missing these shows!

  3. “Learn how to use a knife, ET.”

What part of: “I tend to spend lots of time chopping all sorts of veggies into teeny tiny pieces for an ethnic dish I LOOOOVE.” didn’t you understand.

I do use a knife. I’m actually a fast chopper but it still takes me about an hour of straight (not gay) chopping whenever I make this dish and I do it about once a week.

  4. Snappy, I’m getting canned. They are closing this place. Which is a service to the industry, I can tell you, but means I need to re-configure my life. It’s ok. But you know, takes a lot of effort.

    Thanks, Dave, etson.
