Grana padano is a cheaper substitute for parmigiano. BUT, at the cheese specialty stores or the Italian meat places like Los paisanos, the Parmigiano is often cheaper, sometimes $9.00 a lb.
is there a cheaper & yet competent alternative to good Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese? wife’s craving for it is expensive or is $18/lb is not expensive and I’m just a cheap ass?
oh and MM, thanks for your 1:51 re: hosp. apts. But I didn’t ask about them, DH did.
I asked about living on Franklin between Atlantic and Dean.
Any thoughts?
dibs, where’s Los paisanos? 9 is 50% cheaper than 18 I pay
Besides, a 1/4 lb lasts a long time depending upon what you are using it for.
ha! i just saw the asian guy who was on that show mad tv back in the day wandering around outside just now with a giant camera dressed like a FREAK!

I’m done taking antibiotics but apparently this stuff won’t be out of my system for another 5 days or something.
However Dr. DIBS has assured me that drinking on antibiotics is fine.
