Need to read the NT as succeeding (and replacing) the OT if you are reading the Bible as a Christian.
Jesus supersedes the Jewish law. For example he specifically declares that all foods are clean, so the dietary restrictions don’t apply to Christians.
On divorce, you are right that Jesus’ teaching is against it in most circumstances and is in fact more restrictive than the Jewish law. Most scholars that take a more ‘liberal’ view see that as a question of context.

I don’t know what you are referring to wrt women’s rights (maybe also a question of context). The early Christians were way more progressive than the cultures in which they lived in terms of women’s role.

About once or twice I year I will enjoy a good pasta salad, but most of the ones I come across are mediocre at best.
