“The first L.P. I bought was Ramones: Rocket to Russia.”
Lechacal,
One of the “coolest” kids I ever knew was in the 8th grade
when I was in the 6th grade. He used to ride the city bus back home with me and a hoarde of other misfits every day.
One day, for no particular reason, all the kids were going crazy in the back of the bus screaming at another bus racing beside us along the route home.
At the point where the other bus was about to overtake us,
Michael Aranow (I think that was his name) proceeded to pull down his pants and stick his ass out the bus window, taking the wind out of the other bus driver’s sails and reducing the kids in the other bus to tears.
That was historic. He was wearing a Ramones T-Shirt.
Actually, M4L, I think the Yankee challenges with pitching and their aging offensive stars make this season sort of exciting. Both the Phillies and the Red Sox will be formidable. I am looking forward to it, especially since I have two different friends who are Red Sox fans with whom I will be going to games.

Ok, ENY. We have to leave it to them to get it together. All we need to do is show up and YELL.
let me see if I’m having Slopey’s posting issues (4:02pm my time which is like 5 minutes slower than blog’s)

Yes, indeedy, Legion.
What are we going to do for pitching this year?

I think it’s gonna be OK. Things have a way of working out, and I think this is one of those instances. Don’t ask me why I think that. Just a feeling.

Prudence
Justice
Temperence
Courage
Faith
Hope

Donatella, Mets will trade Johan to Yanks – as we more desperate to cut payroll than it’s to load up on needed talent
Biff, I just realized the other day that Allan Sherman was only 49 when he died. Yikes.
“Al Green’s wife shot him in the ass, he was lying and cheating.”

Actually, if I recall correctly, Al Green’s wife poured hot grits on him as he sat in a bathtub.
Now that HAD to hurt!!
