BHS- agree. If you’re life and work depends on computing, a mobile is not going to replace your desk or lap top.
Kens- I think Apple may have gotten the message that lower price = more sales, but I’ve read there are still some serious lacks in the hardware- this is, a little too minimalist.
M4L- I love amd. Always had my computers built with them when possible. Cloud computing? I hate it. I don’t like the lack of control- and if your internet goes out, you’re screwed. Plus it is far from secure enough.
Rumours have it that, in my absence, as usual, dave told everyone the Montero’s gathering is this Thursday rather than this Friday.
Apparently, cobble one-upped dave by telling everyone the gathering was last Friday.
I’m sure that next Monday, Slopey will outdo them both and tell everyone the gathering was the previous Friday.
And the psychic part of my brain tells me that *rob* needs directions to Montero’s, even though he’s been there a dozen times.
So, to put those rumours to rest, the Montero’s Gathering is this coming Friday, March 11th, 2011, at Montero’s, 73 Atlantic Avenue at Hicks Street. We should be there starting as early as 6-6:30pm. Karaoke starts at 10pm. Food can be delivered there from any number of area restaurants. It’s looking like a really strong PLUSA turnout.
The B63 bus travels between *rob*’s street corner and the street corner in front of Montero’s:
Today’s lessons:
1) When going to the bathroom, try to avoid taking an alcohol wipe out.
2) When drinking heavily, try to avoid taking an alcohol wipeout.
I think I just got back from a backlot tour.

I have a lot on my mind, sheesh! I’m never going to live this down, am I?! : P
Looking forward to Montero’s. I think we have a babysitter lined up so that Wendy can be there too.
“I went on a “Backlot Tour” . . . and . . . had a ride”
Legion, perhaps I’m reading too much into your post, but it’s early for Raunch Hour, no?
I buy a lot of wipes than get contaminated with e coli.

Oh, I just read that as “blackout” tours. Ha.
