The Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination Thursday morning of Albany attorney Mae D’Agostino for a federal judgeship, clearing the way for a full Senate vote.
No date has been set for the floor action.
“I am optimistic that Democrats and Republicans will work together to confirm Mae D’Agostino and many other qualified nominees to the bench as quickly as possible,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer. The New York Democrat, a senior member of the committee chaired by Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, recommended D’Agostino for the federal judgeship.
She would sit in Albany and be the only woman currently on the bench in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
She and I were classmates in high school and college..
*rob* I’d be happy to share my list with you. However, rf just posted a wonderful link that has lots (if not all) of museums in NYC with their hours and free/pay what you want times. My list isn’t that concise and doesn’t have museum addresses or their hours of operation just the free hours.
If you can understand rf’s link, great; I know it looks like a map and you have that rare ‘can’t read a map’ disease; if not I’ll post my list when I get back later.

Besides, his full name is Avram Noam Chomsky. Who cares?
I KNOW it’s the 11th. I just forgot that today was the THIRD! I’ve got a lot on my mind at the moment. Apologies.

Ooops! I’m ahead by a week! Cripes. Less coffee for me!
“I can’t stand Lech. Why pretend.”
That’s fine, ET. You’re entitled to feel that way if you wish.
CHiller – Are you saying that because you want Noam to show up on the wrong night?
