I’m still pretty aggravated by the tone of your comments yesterday. I feel your comments were callous, self-satisfied and arrogant. In some of the comments that I have read, you have come off with a tone which I find condescending and for me unacceptable. The tone was not that you were simply answering a question. It certainly seemed that you were lecturing as if to some young person just starting out – or patting yourself on the back for your long past success at job hunting when you were younger. The fact that you talked about a headhunter giving you a list of hiring managers just added insult to the injury. The comment about ‘Please! Don’t call HR! A complete waste of time” sticks in my mind. I’m quite sure I have at least 10 years on you and I’ve been working a good many more years.
I am, obviously, still very annoyed. I will take your statement above into consideration.
But I sincerely advise you to consider your tone and your audience much more carefully.
LOL BRG, I could have been a surgeon. I LOVE butchering meat. It sounds so sick but I really do like the precision of it. I really can’t explain it without it sounding creepy but I get such satisfaction out of it.
Plus, the meats so much cheaper when you buy it whole!
