It’s a bad situation all around. My earlier comment regarding considering tone and audience stands. In fact, I’ll try to pay attention to it more often myself.

I guess we all do that from time to time. I think most of us are genuinely just trying to get through the day as best we can.It’s hard to know what people really mean or intend in a post- I get surprised at how much teh brownstoner cyberfamily has come to mean to me. And when things are important to you, you react more to them, I guess.

Mopar, I too originally took offense to your post, but I have to admit, my quills poked up after that ridiculous, unprovoked attack I received from the What/Why. I see now that you were not trying to be condescending. I’m sorry for lumping you into a category with a true idiot.
