Hi again… I stay out of abortion threads everywhere. They’re just dangerous. 😉
I have been waiting to see if we were going to hang out with friends (Scott seems to want us out of the house so he can geek out and work in peace, although we’re not being bothersome) and just put a roast in my new crock pot.
Bxgrl – it’s funny you say that. I think sometimes it IS his perception and not necessarily the case. However I feel I should respect his feeling as #1 he’s black and his perception of life is in fact different than mine and #2 he’s just trying to protect us. So if he feels unsafe, I usually don’t fault him for it. But – so far we are fortunate to live in Park Slope – land of the mixed! – haaaa.
Snort! It was prolly the camera not the other cat! More like “WTF are you taking a picture of us for? Get the hell out and close the door on your way!”
gem- you should ask him if its his own perception that people weer giving him the “side eye.” That happens too. If you expect someone to be a certain way, chances are, someone will. And sometimes if you’re looking for bias to be there, you’ll see it when it isn’t. But I give you both props, it’s not an easy life you’ve chosen. It takes a lot of courage and determination to work it out.
Jessi, I’m helping Mrs. Jackal out here! Best that he do his strip club jaunts while she’s out of town as opposed to going there while she’s home and he could be with her instead of watching over-inflated ladies jiggle and shake 🙂 It’s my public service.

The idea that 2 cats could do this- those animals!
That cat looks absolutely terrified!
