Can we talk about blowjobs instead of unions?

What is it you need to know? How they taste? Whether they taste different by race? By what you had to eat 3 hours before? Whether you get the “asparagus effect” there too? How to quickly get the stain off your dress or trousers? What sorts of things you can and cannot catch from them?

  2. “Legion- and exactly what did you think the whole billboard discussion was about? That the people who mounted it care about the Black community?”

    bxgrl,

I believe the intent was two-fold:

    1. To present the pro-life stance in a jolting manner which apparently succeeded.

    2. To recruit the Black community on this issue.

Do you believe the intent was to hurt the Black community?

*note: I do not attempt to speak for the community. Only to point out that an open discussion of the issues as allowable and, in fact, needed.

  3. “What is it you are trying to say??”

If you expect the democrats to respect the fact that WI Republicans were elected by a majority of the people and should be allowed to pass bills that (supposedly) express that will, then the Republicans should have been doing that in Congress for the Dems. Had the Republicans not been the party of obstruction or made a real effort to work with the duly elected President and the democrats, things would have been very different today.

  4. Repubs have the right to disagree with Obama, Dems do with Walker. Neither has the right to be a dictator just because they won an election. But avoiding votes is anti-democratic.

I don’t think the ‘will of the people’ argument is a very good one in either case, frankly.
