“the governor has the power”…to force legislators to be present. I know he apparently has, duh. I asked a question about the legalities and background of why/how he has. It defies common-sense that he can arrest people for not being at their place of work, not that I expect the legal system to make sense. It was just curiosity.
It had nothing to do with your politics, mine, the union stance, the stupid Gov of the state or anything else. You think I don’t know your reactionary politics and that I would try to argue with you on political issues?
quote, Legion: BTW, I was serious about telling you folks how to make money by just going to the bank,
I guess everyone has enough money already.

See Legion, we missed that part. The abuse of the banking systems must have caused us to be callous toward the subject. There is a book called, “The best way to rob a bank is to own one”. I’ve not read it.
The election of 1828 was….noteworthy for the intense personal attacks widely employed by the supporters of both candidates….By the time the votes were cast, both men would have wild stories circulated about their pasts, with lurid charges of murder, adultery, and procuring of women being plastered across the pages of partisan newspapers.

A Scandal Surfaces in the 1884 Campaign
Cleveland campaigned little in 1884, while Blaine ran a very busy campaign, giving about 400 speeches. But Cleveland encountered a huge obstacle when a scandal erupted in July 1884.
The bachelor Cleveland, it was revealed, was having an affair with a widow in Buffalo, And it was also alleged that he had fathered a son with the woman.
The Republicans seized on the paternity scandal, mocking Cleveland by chanting the rhyme, “Ma, ma, where’s my pa?â€
rugs??!!! raunch hour already?
vitriol in government is a GOOD thing, no? dont we want a revolution in this country already? it’s getting kinda shitty and blah
*rob*
And then there was “Cuomo or the Homo.”
Who’s asking the rug question??? Just hang it over the fence and beat it with a broom like your husband does to you.
Shaking out a rug from your balcony and onto innocent folk like Legion is akin to emptying your chamberpots onto the streets.
