Only saw it from afar, but think the Repubs way overplayed their hand with re Clinton.
I don’t think they have in general wrt Obama b/c the thrust of the protests are over policy (taxation, healthcare) and I think at heart Obama is more radical than was Clinton.
the governor of WI was elected when he said there was a budget surplus & he would be reducing taxes. Once in office he “discovered” a shortfall. Unions agreed to various paycuts/reduced bennies to help balance the budget. Then he wanted to emasculate all union power so the dems ran – supposedly until the electorate/plebescite can get its act together to make its voice heard.

“MS 13″, etc, etc,
Dressing like any of these groups, hanging with any of these groups, throwing down signs with these groups or sporting tats like these groups will only get you on the fast lane to being a loser.”
Legion, please tell me why my father 50 year old man, my cousin – lawyer, my minister, my ex-boyfriend – former police officer, and I got stopped. I could give you a list. None of us flash gang signs or dress like thugs.
“Wasn’t a senator beaten to death in the Senate once?”
cmu,
Now you’re talking about the Taiwanese parliment,
that’s where they really get into it.
Women beating men with shoes, dudes throwing microphones at each other.
Full contact legislation at its finest.
Monica Lewinski,
There’s one personality who will NEVER have a sandwich named after her at the Carnegie Deli!
Refusing to shake the President;s hand on a receiving line is not the same as yelling Liar during a major speech in the chambers by the elected President. On national TV no less.

I think there was a very serious fight on the floor on the house in the pre-Civil War era.

“I also think that the Republicans gave Clinton a pass”
How is second impeachment in over 200 years giving a pass?
“also think that the Republicans gave Clinton a passâ€
If that’s how you like to define impeachment proceedings…

People are routinely beaten in the parlaiments of Taiwan and Korea.
