Little girl from across the street appeared on my doorstep last night w/ a heart-shaped baking pan filled w/ her homemade brownies! She makes wonderful brownies.
Damn, just found out that one of my uncles (actually an aunt’s husband) died. He’d had various medical problems for a while, mainly related to being obese, but nothing that seemed life threatening.
He went into the hospital yesterday, had emergency surgery last night and died today.
Life is too short and shit can happen at any time.
DCB, I’ll take bxgrl’s tray of brownies as I’ll be the only one welcoming you into the hood. So just to confirm, that’s 2 trays in total – the orig one you were baking for me and now that one you were planning for bxgrl is also mine.
