Dona – my understanding of what Bxgrl said was that Chanel was not a real human being. And I have to agree with her. When you dehumanize someone, you dehumanize yourself.
Not sure that came out the way you meant. If it did, then I’ve dehumanized people for far less than selling themselves out to the Nazis, if that’s even what she did.
I’ve seen people behave like animals in many different ways which, in my mind, that’s exactly what they are and they should be treated as such. I guess I just dehumanized myself.
Like I said above, what people do during wartime to save their own lives may not be representative of who or what they truly are under other, more human, circumstances.
No one her knows what was going on in CC’s mind and I’m flabbergasted that we’ve discussed it to this length
