US corporations are showing better earnings because they have cut cut cut everything to the bare bones, including jobs. They are working on skeleton crews and whoop-dee-do their numbers are slightly better than they were last year, newsflash… the numbers still suck and these companies can’t continue to operate and god forbid GROW without adding staff.
The market is being driven by headlines and the cheerleaders on CNBC are only helping to prop it up. I don’t believe the hype and unless they fix jobs and housing (outside NYC) we are not going to be back on the road to recovery. This is just another wall st setup in my opinion.
Sorry M4L- the militia is all powerful- you cannot break us. No one breaks He Who Walks With Squirrels. If you go peacefully, we can promise you house arrest on a lovely estate somewhere in the Caymans, with an in-house brownie baker. Don’t make us drag you out in chains in front of the mini-M4L.

Also, many US companies have significant earnings from overseas now and are growing more rapidly overseas. Think MCD and many others.
