Because we male PLUSAs are not afraid of insulting each other’s sensitivities on physical appearances, but we are reluctant to take our chances with the PLUSA women

meryl is too rigid/stern to play donatella. gotta pick someone who can laugh out loud
Meryl Streep and Kathy Bates are two of my favorite actresses.
And I personally don’t mind the double standard, by the way. I’m comfortable insulting other men, but try not to insult women.

Slopey is exactly right. Remember the discussion about the attractiveness of female politicians? I don’t think anyone cares (including I) when male politicians are critiqued on their physical appearance.
