My mom had every one of his records and, not surprisingly I’m sure, I listened to them over and over. They had a show a number of years back just off Broadway featuring his songs and I took my mom to it when she was in town.

Meryl Streep could play anyone, even me. I learned that last night watching a season 1 episode of Modern Family. A mom in the playgroup told one of the gay dads that Meryl Streep was wrong for her part in Mamma Mia. He burst into tears because Meryl can play ANYONE and he started ruminating on Sophie’s Choice. Poor guy.
Oh, and maybe the actor who plays the other dad, the red-headed one, could play Delepp.
